Its ages since we saw you
Your unwanted tantrums
And wanted wishes
Have all taken you
To the city of dreams.

All of us have to move away

To bridge the gap
between the dreams and reality.

But that would be so soon
And so sudden for so long.

All have moved
From the places of their origin
To the place of their dreams.

Recalling and reminiscing.

Distances make no difference

Leaving one home

Is the part of life

जाले

कमरे के कोने में
किताबों की अलमारी में
चौके में रखे मसाले के डिब्बों के ऊपर
कुर्सी-मेज़ के इर्द-गिर्द

हर उस जगह
हर उस वस्तु के आसपास
जिसका प्रयोग काफी समय से नहीं किया गया है
या
जो हमारी रोजमर्रा की गतिविधियों से परे है

हर उस रिश्ते में जिसको हम भूल रहे हैं

लग गए हैं जाले

चलिए
उन जालों को साफ करते हैं।

कमरों में झांकते हैं
कोनों को खंगालते हैं
मसालों का स्वाद लेते हैं
किताबों के पृष्ठों को पलटते हैं
थोड़ा कुर्सी-मेज़ को हिलाते हैं

वस्तुओं का प्रयोग करते हैं
या
जिसकी आवश्यकता नहीं हैं
-जिसको उसकी आवश्यकता है-
उसको देते हैं

रोजमर्रा की गतिविधियों में कुछ प्रयोग करते हैं
रिश्तों को पुनर्जीवित करते हैं
उन्हें संभालते हैं

चलिए
जालों को तलाशते हैं
उनको साफ करते हैं।

प्रतिशोध

क्यों भला प्रतिशोध की ज्वाला लिए तुम जी रहे हो

क्यों दिखाकर द्वेष-भेष घूँट विष का पी रहे हो

नम्रता का भाव लेकर जय विजय नेतृत्व देखो

क्षम्य कृत्यों का लिए क्यों बोझ तुम अब जी रहे हो 

भूल जाओ भूत की भाषा विषय सब सांझ आई

उम्र कोई भी भले हो सुबह सबकी बार आई

घास झुककर चीड़ के सम्मुख खड़ी लहलहा रही है

और धरती पर पड़ी लकड़ी व्यथा पर मुस्कराई

गन्तव्य

वह नहीं गन्तव्य जिसका ले टिकट हम चल रहे हैं

वह कहाँ है रौशनी जो दीप करते जल रहे हैं

शब्द पक्षी बन हमें दे प्रेरणा घट बैठ हंसते

हम भ्रमित हो ले सहारा मान मंजिल चल रहे हैं
